These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Ace It! Education Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to the Ace It! DSE website and associated educational services (collectively, the "Services"). At launch, the Services focus on HKDSE English Language learning tools; additional subjects or features may be added over time and will be identified in the app when available.
By clicking "Sign Up," "I Agree," or by otherwise accessing the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE ALL USE OF THE SERVICES.
The Services are intended for students preparing for the HKDSE. If you are under the age of 18, you represent that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Services.
Unless otherwise stated, all source code, databases, software, website designs, audio, video, text (including mock exam questions, marking schemes, and study notes), and graphics (the "Content") are owned or licensed by Ace It! Education. These are protected by the Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528) of Hong Kong and international copyright laws.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Content for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not:
We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle transactions. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the designated payment method for the periodic subscription fee.
All sales are final. Given the digital nature of our Content (which is accessible immediately upon payment), Ace It! Education does not offer refunds, credits, or prorated billing for cancelled subscriptions. This policy applies regardless of your exam results, technical issues on your end, or non-usage of the platform.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following notice to you.
Ace It! DSE is a supplementary educational tool focused on HKDSE English at launch. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee any specific HKDSE grade, JUPAS outcome, or university admission. Features such as Dream Subjects gap indicators, Ace Sir strategy chat, and AI mock scores are for planning and practice only—not official HKEAA marks or admission offers. Academic success depends on numerous factors outside our control.
AI-generated feedback and scores may be incomplete or incorrect. You must verify important content with official materials and your teachers. Unless your school permits and requires disclosure, you must not submit AI-generated work as your own in graded school assessments or public examinations.
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree not to engage in the following "Prohibited Activities":
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice or liability, to deny access to the Services (including blocking IP addresses) for any reason, including breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant contained in these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately, and we may delete your account and any associated data.
Your privacy is important to us. Our standalone Privacy Policy (available from the website footer) explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal data in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”), including your rights of access and correction, direct marketing, AI processing, Dream Subjects data, device limits, and cross-border transfers.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy. Privacy enquiries and data access or correction requests may be sent to info@aceit-learning.com (select “Privacy & data” in the contact form where available).
Ace It! DSE does not operate its own advertising or marketing cookie programme, and we do not display a cookie consent banner on the platform at this time. Most day-to-day functions rely on browser storage (such as local storage and session storage), not on Ace It!-set marketing cookies.
We store information in your browser to operate the Services, including: keeping you signed in (Microsoft Entra authentication tokens are held in local storage); saving in-progress mock exams and writing drafts; language and display preferences; and similar functional data. Clearing site data for Ace It! may sign you out or remove unsaved progress.

You may clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings. Blocking storage or third-party cookies may prevent sign-in, payment, or optional analytics from working correctly.
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of Hong Kong. Both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
